One hospital can't open another
Each hospital has its own users and records. A login for one never opens another hospital's patients or bills.
Everyone signs in as their role
Doctors, nurses, front desk, pharmacy, lab and accounts each have their own login. No shared passwords.
Passwords stored as bcrypt hashes
Never as readable text. Admin accounts use a higher hash cost. Reset links expire after 30 minutes.
Failed sign-ins are recorded
Wrong passwords are counted with the IP address, and the account locks for a short time after repeated failures.
Signed PDFs can't be changed
E-signed prescriptions and invoices carry a tamper check and a QR code to verify them.
One letterhead, locked
The admin sets the prescription and invoice templates. Doctors fill them in but can't change them.

Who creates a hospital on HospiTraq?
The platform owner creates the hospital and its admin login. The hospital admin then adds staff, patients, and day-to-day records.
Can one owner run more than one hospital?
Yes. Each hospital is its own set of users and records. Staff in one hospital do not see another hospital’s patients.
Which hospital work does HospiTraq cover?
Patients, appointments, doctors and departments, prescriptions, beds and wards, laboratory, pharmacy, billing with GST invoices, e-signed documents, staff logins, and reports.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. HospiTraq installs from the browser as an app on Android and iPhone, and today's queue stays available offline.
How are passwords stored?
As bcrypt hashes, not as readable text. Admin accounts use a higher hash cost. A forgotten-password link expires after 30 minutes. Repeated failed sign-ins are recorded and the account is locked for a short time.
